The General Assembly Chorus prepares itself at the start of its competition set during the North and South Carolina District 2016 Spring Convention on Saturday morning, March 19, 2016 at the Mariott Grand Dunes Hotel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. 1. "That Summer When We Were Young", directed by Larry Triplett.
  2. "How Can They Possibly Do That?" directed by Bill Rashleigh.

Last weekend the General Assembly Chorus completed a triple play.  Saturday 16 members sang the National Anthem at the Mudcats game.  Sunday morning 21 members sang at the Hillyer Memorial Church service.  Monday evening the chorus performed patriotic songs for residents of the Springmoor Retirement Community.

Saturday, May 24, barbershoppers from around the area attended Supercharging Your Chapter, a seminar by Paul Ellinger.  Paul Ellinger really knows his stuff and knows how to deliver it.  The event, fun, exciting and educational, was sponsored by the General Assembly Chorus and NSC District of the Barbershop Harmony Society.  This is one way barbershoppers work to improve their singing.
